Trouble with taking money from account

So I made my PayPal account a while ago when I was 16/17 not aware there was a forceful age limit. I sold an item on depop then PayPal locked my account when I received the money from this item. As customer service wasn't being helpful at the time, I gave up and decided to wait literally 8 or so months until I turned 18, to be able to get my money back when I met the age limit.

Once I was 18, I then went through providing proof of identity etc which was approved. Got an email from Paypal saying my account has been restored and my money is eligible for transfer. Then I try to transfer my money into my bank account and it can't be linked due to a "problem with my account- go to resolution centre". I go to the resolution centre and it says my "account is limited" then I click "view limitations" then goes to a page saying I can no longer use Paypal?

Sorry if this doesn't make sense but I just want my money in my account and to be able to use Paypal like a regular person pls help. I know this is my fault but I was young and didn't know, so why is PayPal so sketchy about providing proof that I own the account? It's only $100 but that belongs to me and I can't get it 😡

Paypal does not allow account holders under the age of 18.

PayPal asks for a birth date when you register so whilst you can make a PayPal account with false information the account will need to be verified to accept funds into your balance or lift any limits.
As you would be unable to verify your account it would be permanently locked for further use.

Minors can’t enter legal contracts so you may not have any recourse to get your money back until you were 18, unless customer services allow you to transfer the funds to a parents account?

You would never be able to use that illegally opened underage account again but once 18 Paypal may allow you to do a withdrawal of funds from that account.

OR they may allow you to open a new account and transfer the funds across for you. The latter option is not guaranteed as you have already broken their rules once but you should get one of those options.
