Tried to report Fraudulent Invoice; failed; Resolution Ctr didn't seem helpful...

I've received a bogus invoice within my PayPal account from "FHKYCIEEZ" for $52 dollars. As the "Invoice #" it used a domain name that I own, 360daycalendar.com. So, I read through Reporting Fraud, and there was no section titled "Fraudulent Invoice". (Seems like there should be.) So I went to the Resolution Center, and it told me to select a transaction and I selected invoice, and easily located that invoice. But the ONLY two options I was given was to PAY the invoice or CANCEL. So, I cancelled. But that was insufficient and left me thinking that PayPal was making it rather difficult to report this kind of Fraudulent Activity on their platform, almost as though they didn't want to know about it. How do I report a Fake Invoice?

All you can do is cancel and archive the invoice. Only completed payment transactions can be reported/disputed through Resolution Center. You may try and contact customer service to have sender blocked if you can get through:

  1. Log on.
  2. Click HELP at the top menu.
  3. Scroll down and click CONTACT US.
  4. Scroll down to click CALL US or other contact options.

Call early, during business hours, west coast time to try to get a US rep.

Or contact via social media:

After this reply, if the "Accept as Solution" button is still available sharpiemarker, I'm going to click it. But I want to express my discouragement for the PayPal community that there is no clear reporting method for those who come across fraudulent actors among PayPal account holders, unless they first get taken in by them. Perhaps PayPal thinks or knows that it would cost to much or be too difficult to check into these kind of bad actors, but if they did, they might end up with fewer "completed" bad transactions for their Resolution Center to unwind.
