I made a purchase through Paypal but that transaction does not appear on my summary of transactions. Using Paypal I charged my credit card. I have an email from Paypal showing the date of the purchase , a Transaction ID, the Merchant Transaction ID, and an Invoice ID. Apparently I checked out as a guest, which makes sense because my Paypal password is always requiring a reset.
I need to dispute the transaction, but because the transaction does not appear on my summary or activity pages, I cannot start the dispute.
I see similar issues on the community forum, but these seem to say the only option is to call on the phone and have them open a dispute. Paypal has had me on hold for 2 hours and their other methods of contact do not work. They say text a message and they will get back with you, but several days have gone by with no response.
