CHECK THEY ARE NOT ONE OF THESE.
Chinese Web Sites or on Social Media ads easy to spot (once you know the below signs) so buyer beware.

1. No return address on the returns policy. The site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) but they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost often more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number. if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. Rarely company address information.
4. Great pictures of items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.
5. Fake reviews.
6. Google and you can often see previous company names as they change them once enough claims roll in and Paypal stop them using their services and start over.
7. Send fake tracking numbers to win item non receipt of item claims.

8. Fake items.

They are selling a nock-off product of this original product: http://www.petersfeeders.com/hummingbird-feeder-hb-1/

The hummingbird feeder they are selling is far less superior. My hummingbird feeder came damaged out of the box. I called service at crogreat.com but they only offered me 50% refund. I replied to them all I want as a working hummingbird feeder so that I can feed my birds if not I would like 100% refund.

You will not get the items you ordered, let's put it that way.  I, unfortunately, was roped in (it was 4 in the morning, not a good time to be online).  I ordered a "squirrel-proof" birdfeeder (one of those mechanical ones with a battery-operated spinner at the bottom; once the squirrel lands on it, the thing starts spinning and off he goes), and a hummingbird feeder.

What I received was laughable.  Two items, so cheaply made of bendable plastic that no bird in its right mind would go near.  (Never mind trying to put the food in there for them.) I seriously thought I had gotten someone else's order -- I had to double-check against the tracking number. There was no mechanized spinner on the squirrel-proof feeder and the top to that feeder is stuck on by two pieces of thin metal bars that don't keep the top on the feeder. It is supposed to have a metal cap and a metal base (nothing on this is metal other than the two thin pieces holding the plastic top). They are about 9" in height (the squirrel-proof feeder is described as being 29" in height).

The website I purchased from is www.biologytrainingaid.com, their email response has the company name "Tianze," and their email address ends in timthy dot com (yes, that's how it's spelled). So the person below who listed all the warning signs is absolutely correct.

oh, also, even though their website (on the very product pages I ordered) says "Full refund within 90 days without reason", they are refusing to do that. Their latest email says they will "offer" me a refund of 10%, but I can keep the product. Uh-huh.

Stay away from these people (and follow the warning signs for others).

How do I open a dispute with a seller when a purchase goes wrong?

You can open a dispute in the Resolution Centre of your PayPal account within 180 days of payment if:
•You don’t receive the item OR service
•You receive an item but it’s significantly different than the description on eBay or on the seller’s website (or you receive a totally different product).

By opening a dispute, you can communicate directly with your seller to work out a problem transaction.

If you reach an agreement with the seller you can close the dispute. If you're still not happy with the result, you can escalate the dispute into a claim. Paypal will review the claim and decide on reimbursement.

These steps apply to Personal accounts. If you have a Business account, please log in to see the steps that apply to you.

To open a dispute:
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click on the transaction and use the resolve a problem option at the bottom of that details page.

Note:
•Generally buyers must wait at least 7 days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received
•Where an item has not been received, please ensure you have given the seller enough time before opening a dispute

Do not close the dispute until you have a refund or your item.
If a seller states that they can't refund until you have closed the dispute don't believe them.
Escalate the dispute to a claim within 20 days (before it times out), if you need Paypal to get involved.

If you lose because the seller provides a fake tracking number then post back here for more advice.
If the item arrives and its not what you ordered / not as described then make sure you change the dispute quickly from non receipt. If the dispute times out before you can change it then contact customer services to open a second dispute for the new reason.

Activate the below link in case you have to return the item at Paypals request (or the correct one for your country as this is the U.S link).

https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/returns

If that does not work then if you funded your paypal payment via a card then contact your card issuer and see if they will issue a chargeback.

I have already submitted a claim, but If the seller keeps offering ridiculous refund amounts (first it was 10%, then it was 15%), and they continue to refuse a return (of course), at what point will PayPal recognize that I should be recompensed?  (i.e., the vendor is communicating, but with ludicrous solutions)

Thank you for your help/advice.

Thank you! That company Tianze should be blocked by PayPal and others. Buyer Beware! They’re deceptive about what they’re really selling.

I have the same problem! They keep emailing me they’ll refund me 10% of my 73.00 order! I have continued to reject their offer and ask for full refund and return mailing label. This company should be banned! Cheaply made product that is a joke! They keep telling me it’ll cost me more than $20 to return the package. That’s certainly better than receiving 10% of my purchase. However, I don’t want to even spend $20. I want my full refund for a piece of crap they claim is an excellent product. I have read on here many of the same or similar problems with this company. PayPal shouldDefinitely not allow them as a seller. I hope I can get a full refund.

It's so frustrating -- the poor company who actually makes the hummingbird feeder (see post above) had to stop shipments until they get this straightened out (because of these thieving **bleep**).

I have already filed a complaint with the FTC, and I'm about to escalate my claim with PayPal.  We'll see what happens.  But I'm not stopping....  And if I can get the FTC to pay attention, maybe we can get these thieves shut down (although they'll just create another company name and website, I'm sure).  Ugh, this makes me so angry.

I agree, I was also offered 10%, then 15% of purchase price. Refused to refund my money, PayPal found in favor of the company because they said nothing was wrong with product. It is the cheapest, sorriest looking hummingbird feeder. Why can I not have satisfaction from this company or PayPal. If not resolved ASAP, I will no longer count on PayPal to protect me as a consumer and delete my account.
