I hope I can get advice on here.

My wife's account was hacked on Dec 5, last week, and three unauthorized transactions carried out. She reported the instance to PayPal, changes her password and Security Questions & Answers. But  a few days later, despite PayPal having solved the case and returned the money into her account and the changes to the password and security questions, clearing caches and cookies, there was another problem with the account again.

This time, the account is inaccessible, when she tries to log in, she gets this message "Check your entries and try again" when she tried a password reset (despite being sure what her password is) she got this other error message "There's no account associated with this email, use a different email address or create a new account"

It seems as though the account went from being fully operational to being non-existent overnight. Has anyone else ever came across this problem? How did PayPal solve it for you? In our case, we have tried to call the customer support on phone but it hasn't ever gone through, our phone service provider cites issues with the call. I tried reaching PayPal on Twitter, Facebook and even from my account but no help yet.

Does anyone know whether this was a hack attack or a problem with the account itself? Is it possible to recover the account and the money that was in it, and are there any ideas on how to get this fixed?

Thanks.

Hello,

I need help, I’ve spend today about two hours talking to customer service to tell that I can’t access
my account, then I was transferred to the specialist but nobody reply to me for about 40 minutes. I have
account with Paypal for about 15 years under email <removed> . Couple days ago my account was hacked, a lot of unknown transactions were shown on my account.
Unbelievable!
PayPal sending emails to my address, how do they telling that I don’t have an account .
I have a lot of copy of dispute cases ID , according to them, PayPal can find my account info. If my
account was hacked it might changed everything – email address and phone number, that’s why you can find it, but it should be resolved.
Now, I’ve received an email from PayPal that saying money came under ID Transaction ID:82459607BC500563P - from my customer!
Item Price:$411.00 USD, but I can’t see it cause login not possible, to open a new account under the same email <removed> will ruin everything. So, I can’t send the product to my customer and I’m losing my business.
Also, I can send my old paperwork which shown “transaction ID” through PayPal, which can help the PayPal to find my account.
But I do not have email.
PayPal email <removed> do not want work with me!!
I'm asking response PayPal workers.
And asking people who have the same problem after hackers attacks.
Please help me ASAP.

Regards,

PS

(I could write this letter only after I made a new account.
But on my old account, there is a lot of money and I want to return it!)
