The customer unfairly double-dipped and I'm left holding the bag!

Due to Covid-19 delays, the customer  requested his money as the item was being sent. I happen to be on the East Coast of the United States while the customer is located in Australia.Also the customer is constantly on the move (being an entertainer) but refuses to acknowledge any further communication.

Why should he, when he made out like a bandit? Tracking was given to confirm item being sent but paypal sided with the patron rather than the merchant, so I was robbed by both! It makes me angry because I have a very limited income, being a retiree and living on military disability!.
