I ordered and payed for a bedding product at Lamoki shop. On FB i got messages that this trader is probably scam. So i send complaint to paypal with message for suspicious trader and my wish to cancel the order, but paypal did not accept my complaint and simply closed the case. I can not re-open ? What if i do not receive my goods ? is there no buyer protection ?
PayPal cannot cancel orders, and you cannot report payment as unauthorized payment because no one hacked into your account and made this payment without your knowledge or permission. You made this payment.
When you come across a problem like this, you file Item Not Received and the seller has to provide tracking number that proves delivery to you. Or you file Significantly Not As Described, if you received part of your order, fake item, damage item in transit, received a brick or empty box or envelope when you did not order a brick or empty boxes/envelopes.
You must now call customer service to see about changing your reason for claim to Item Not Received or Significantly Not As Described, which ever one applies.
