Storm Media Limited, Fraud?

As I was going through my receipts for taxes I noticed an entry on my PayPal for Storm Media Limited for last July. I order art instructional videos often, but I could not find any other info for this. I was charged $24.92.

Has anyone else had problems with Storm Media Limited? I didn't get whatever this company said I ordered. I don't know what it is.

I would like to warn others that this could be a fraud.

Yes! They didn't send me the leggings I ordered until i disputed and escalated the case to PayPal. They kept replying to my emails by saying we are very busy at this moment but rest assured your order is our priority. Big lie. When I finally got the leggings I ordered, it's nowhere near the price quality. I wish them to get caught and put in prison for such a fraud.

They are a fraud-charged me for bras that are listed as not comfortable and hazardous to your health. I have never received them AND never wanted them anyways I started to pay with PayPal but then I checked them out and decided not to pursue but PayPal took money out anyway. I have contacted both the shipper and PayPal with MO results. I think PayPal should reimburse me as I never wanted to complete order. I’ve spoken to PayPal and they tried to blame me. I want my money back and to speak to the shipper and then I want to cancel my PayPal account. I will escalate to the CEO for PayPal and will contact BBB if need be.

It is unconscionable that Paypal continues to allow Storm Media to process transactions when Paypal is aware of the rampant fraud.  I, too, fell prey to a fraudulent transaction. Reported the fraud to Paypal and my CC company (my account is linked to a credit card thankfully). Also filed complaint with the BBB and Federal Trade Commission and strongly encourage others to do the same, since Paypal does not appear to be taking action.

In the spirit of fairness, I raised a dispute with PayPal when I realised this was a scam company who lied about dispatching goods and provided fake tracking numbers twice. PayPal refunded me the full amount so the process worked for me.

Wow, I wished I had seen this sooner! Ordered something off a "Zarya Labs" website and it goes into this email account as well. I actually abandoned my cart halfway because I started having a nibbling suspicion that they're fake (because $5.99 for international shipping to my country is too good to be true) Even though I abandoned it right then and there, the next time I visited the site they took away my money!

I tried disputing with Paypal and saying that it's an unauthorised transaction and they've denied it. Now I can't open another dispute on the transaction number and their customer service has been completely non-responsive! HELP!

Lucky you-I threatened enough that Storm Media sent refund to PayPal BUT PayPal has not credited my bank account and are ignoring my comments to them.

How do I open a dispute with a seller when a purchase goes wrong?

You can open a dispute in the Resolution Centre of your PayPal account within 180 days of payment if:
•You don’t receive the item
•You receive an item but it’s significantly different than the description on eBay or on the seller’s website

By opening a dispute, you can communicate directly with your seller to work out a problem transaction.

If you reach an agreement with the seller you can close the dispute. If you're still not happy with the result, you can escalate the dispute into a claim. We'll review the claim and decide on reimbursement.

These steps apply to Personal accounts. If you have a Business account, please log in to see the steps that apply to you.

To open a dispute:
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2.Near the bottom of the page, under 'More about your account', click Resolve a problem in our Resolution Centre.
3.Click Dispute a Transaction.
4.Select the button beside the transaction you want to dispute, then click Continue.
5.Select ‘Item dispute’, click Continue and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note:
•Generally buyers must wait at least 7 days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received
•Where an item has not been received, please ensure you have given the seller enough time before opening a dispute

https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/first-dispute

DO NOT CLOSE THE DISPUTE UNTIL YOU HAVE A CLEARED REFUND OR YOUR ITEM WHATEVER THE SELLER SAYS. ALSO DON'T FORGET TO ESCALATE THE DISPUTE TO A CLAIM WITHIN 20 DAYS IF THE SELLER DOES NOT REFUND.

If that does not work then if you funded your paypal payment via a card then contact your card issuer and see if they will do a chargeback for you.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I bought a Shaver from them through PayPal. It never arrived and after 2 months, I've had no progress in a refund request through an escalation on PayPal and directly with the company. My order was finalised on 18th Feb through their Facebook ad. I discovered a lot of similar customers with the same issue as me and no reply or update from the company despite much contact with them. Total. Scam.
