Storm Media Limited, Fraud?

As I was going through my receipts for taxes I noticed an entry on my PayPal for Storm Media Limited for last July. I order art instructional videos often, but I could not find any other info for this. I was charged $24.92.

Has anyone else had problems with Storm Media Limited? I didn't get whatever this company said I ordered. I don't know what it is.

I would like to warn others that this could be a fraud.

Wish I had read this before purchasing from them. That’s what I get for not doing enough research and trusting people. I’m out $30 for wrist braces...and I never did receive a tracking number. Now I don’t know what to do or how to get my $$ back

If you used a credit card, call them and tell your story, in most cases they will investigate your complaint and help you get your money back.

RING Paypal and open a case. Leave it a week and then ring again and say you are fed up and demand an immediate refund. Good luck!

I also have the same issue where I did not get what I ordered. How can we all get resolution and have her money returned? This is not right that the company is allowed to continue And to process transactions

I feel like I am repeating myself but I was also lost and concerned how I was going to get my money back too, so happy to give advice!

RING Paypal (free tel number) and then explain fully what has happened and that you have read the MANY complaints on this forum. They will open a case and tell you that they will investigate and contact the company direct, which they will. The company will then tell a pack of lies, so after a week, RING again with your case number and ask nicely for a full refund as it has gone on long enough. Paypal are aware of this shocking company.

Good luck! xx

RING Paypal (do not email!) and ask to open a case. Explain fully what has happened and how you are aware of all these other cases - Paypal are also fully aware. It makes my blood boil that they continue to do business with this corrupt company. They will tell you that they will investigate.

After a week, ring them again and say you are now totally fed up and demand a full refund.

Good luck x

I bought a teeth stain remover and it says that it requires AAA batteries. But the container for the batteries is to small. I thought I had the wrong size in my hand but no: AAA was in my hand... The stupids have made the batterieholder to small. 25:95 usd down the drain and into the China economy. Made in China will never ever stand for quality.

How do I open a dispute with a seller when a purchase goes wrong?

You can open a dispute in the Resolution Centre of your PayPal account within 180 days of payment if:
•You don’t receive the item
•You receive an item but it’s significantly different than the description on eBay or on the seller’s website

By opening a dispute, you can communicate directly with your seller to work out a problem transaction.

If you reach an agreement with the seller you can close the dispute. If you're still not happy with the result, you can escalate the dispute into a claim. We'll review the claim and decide on reimbursement.

These steps apply to Personal accounts. If you have a Business account, please log in to see the steps that apply to you.

To open a dispute:
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2.Near the bottom of the page, under 'More about your account', click Resolve a problem in our Resolution Centre.
3.Click Dispute a Transaction.
4.Select the button beside the transaction you want to dispute, then click Continue.
5.Select ‘Item dispute’, click Continue and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note:
•Generally buyers must wait at least 7 days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received
•Where an item has not been received, please ensure you have given the seller enough time before opening a dispute

https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/first-dispute

DO NOT CLOSE THE DISPUTE UNTIL YOU HAVE A CLEARED REFUND OR YOUR ITEM WHATEVER THE SELLER SAYS. ALSO DON'T FORGET TO ESCALATE THE DISPUTE TO A CLAIM WITHIN 20 DAYS IF THE SELLER DOES NOT REFUND.

If that does not work then if you funded your paypal payment via a card then contact your card issuer and see if they will do a chargeback for you.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
