Hi, I had a problem with a transaction with a fraudulent company and paypal was unhelpful (They did not even bother investigating the issue). The company is now advising me that they will take further payments in the future. I would like to know if deleting my paypal account is enough to stop these payments or whether I should cancel my bank debit card as well. Would really appreciate advice regarding this. Kind regards, Maria

Check if you have automatic payments set up with this merchant:
(personal account)
Go to Account Settings (gear icon) > Payments > Manage Automatic Payments
Select merchant on left, click Cancel on the right.
(business account)
Go to Account Settings (gear icon) > Money, banks and cards > Automatic payments > Set Automatic Payments
Click Merchant from list and select Cancel on the next page.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
