Thought you might be interested in the outcome. My business debit card, WHICH I NEVER ACTIVATED, was stolen when my purse was stolen. The thief managed to empty my PayPal cash account and even pull money from my bank checking account. I had reported the card stolen and asked that it be canceled immediately. Still, PayPal allowed charges to go through even though I called when they were only pending and could be seen. I was told not to worry, that it would all be reimbursed to me. NOT TRUE! I have spoken to managers at PayPal in Security and Fraud and Debit cards every day since this started. Each one promised to rectify the matter. Looking at the resolution center, I can see that 3/4 of the transactions were reviewed by the Resolution Center and approved as "AUTHORIZED" despite my report to them AND THE POLICE REPORT that this card was stolen and these transactions were fraudulent.
Who wants to sue PayPal with me?
