PayPal offered me a courtesy credit to offset my loss for a DVD that became permanently trapped inside of a player that I purchased. The credit was applied on the purchase of a different player which I now have been refunded in full for by EBay. PayPal has deducted the $40 courtesy credit that it automatically applied on that order. How are you going to take back a courtesy credit once it has been given? They are talking about credits not covered under buyer protection. WTF?! Can someone explain how this is even legal for them to steal that $40 ?
