Somehow Paypal sided with scammer? What can I do?

As the title says I was scammed and later found on reddit that this seller scams frequently and is frequently disputed here on Paypal.

Somehow Paypal sided with the seller even though I showed screenshots showing the fraud. 

Paypal siding with this seller seems like total stupidity, I don't know how it happened, absolute joke.

What step can I take next?  I see no way to dispute the resolution.

Sorry hard to advise when you haven't said what happened / which dispute you opened / if you escalated / why you lost etc etc.
