I am having an issue where Paypal is refusing to refund me $300 from a deposit placed on a cruise that was cancelled. I have gone back and forth with the cruise line that has told me they approved the refund and have even given me confirmation numbers for it and with Paypal that keeps saying the dispute is closed without paying me. When I call, they say they can see where I am owed the money and that I should have it in ten days, then I end up getting another letter stating that my claim is closed and I "lost". This has been going on for two months now and I am tired of it. Has anyone successfully taken Paypal to small claims court because I believe that is my next step. At this point it is less about the money and more about the fact that they are essentially stealing my money.
