Should I close my case?

I ordered some items but haven’t received them yet. I opened a case and seller said they were sending to me this week but I needed to close the case because they can’t take other orders while my case is open. What happens if I close my case and than still don’t receive my items? Should I leave my case open until I receive my items?

If you had to close a case to get a refund then it would be pointless opening one.
NEVER close a dispute / claim until you have a refund or your item.
If the seller issued a refund then that would close the dispute automatically.
If he doesn't escalate to a claim.
Do not close it or he can ignore you and you can't open a second dispute OR re-open a closed one.
Also do not let it time out at 20 days, escalate before it does.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
