I recently purchased something from an apparently shady Chinese outfit that I found had a number of scam complaints when I googled them. (I know, I should have googled them first!) Through Paypal, they agreed to a refund for a product which was not as described so I returned the carefully packed item via USPS, with insurance and tracking number. After several months of checking the tracking number, which always indicated item in transit, I just received a message from PayPal that my claim had been denied due to a failure to provide proof of return. Yet I have a USPS receipt and customs declaration dispatch. Would these not be considered valid proof of return?
