Shipping claim

I shipped an item to a customer.  Used priority mail.  The invoice shows shipment is insured.  I am assuming this is automatic for priority mail.  Seems like up to $50 is included.  When I went to file a claim with USPS, it is asking me how much I paid for insurance!  How do I calculate that?  Is my package really insured?  Help!  Never had this before.
