Im selling a virtual item to the buyer but dont want to get scammed. Supposedly the buyer sends me the payment first then I send him the account details afterwards. In a couple of days the buyer files a fake dispute saying he never received the item. What are some ways I can sell a virtual item without getting scammed? My method would be asking the buyer to pay through his paypal account only, sending me the money first, confirming the receipt, and confirming the order. But would my method work or just end in failure? Another question I have is if the buyer sends me money through his paypal account would their be a receipt or confirmation for a virtual item? If not then how would the buyer be able confirm he got his virtual account since their is no shipping or tracking involved with a virtual item?
