Hello team,
I purchased a mini projector from a Chinese seller for approx. $75AUD, they were very slow to provide legit tracking information and finally when a product arrived, it was totally the wrong item.
It was some cheap $3 folding phone magnifier.
I have opened a claim against them and they have agreed to refund the money if I send back the item they sent me (cheap phone magnifier).
The problem is that it must be registered post back to China.
To send the item will cost me $25AUD to send it back, the seller won't refund the money if they do not get their item back.
I have looked up the buy price for these cases and its $1.50USD... I believe that they send this item out in place of what you want because they know that people will be stuck in this position.
Can I prove that this item is basically worthless and not worth sending half way around the world?
Should I have to bear the weight of $25 when its not my error in them sending the 'wrong' item?
Any and all help greatfully received!
Thanks in advance!

In the event of a dispute you need to bear in mind possible return trackable costs before you buy from that seller / item / country.
Paypal state this >>
PayPal is not obliged to reimburse you for any costs that you incur to comply with any of PayPal’s requests for cooperation for the purpose of resolving the problem (including, without limitation, costs that you incur to return a SNAD item to the Payment Recipient or another party as PayPal requests), although sometimes it may reimburse these costs.

You also have the option to do a chargeback via your card issuer instead of a Paypal dispute if you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.
