Hi. I've bought an item on Ebay & paid through Paypal using scheduled payment. However the item is faulty so I've gone through the Ebay return process & about to post the item back to the seller. Do I also need to report the problem in Paypal's resolution centre so that they won't withdraw the money from my account on the scheduled date? Or do Ebay automatically inform Paypal? This is the first time I've had to do this so I'm a bit clueless as to how it works..
Thanks in advance.

No, however payments are automated so if the item does not arrive back to the seller in time for them to refund BEFORE your funds leave your bank account then those funds will process through to paypal when as a refund has been made they will credit them to your paypal balance.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
