I just received an email from Home Chef stating I was billed $27.99 on 4/27. I don't see anything charged to Paypal, but when I open the email it trys to get me to log into paypal.
I got the same email today as well. I noticed there was no "From" on the top of the email, raising a red flag immediately. Paypal also sends "Service" receipts to all the transactions I've ever done. I double checked my account, by opening a new window and signing into Paypal. I did not click the link through the email. No such charge, so definitely a fishing or scam tactic.
I got one too - Several reasons I use many e-mail addresses because I can detected a "SCAM" like this one because it appears on an e-mail "NOT USED FOR PAY PAL" A DEFINITELY A RED FLAG + I double checked - NO SUCH TRANSACTION !!
