Hello, I was asked to pay for a service (a gift code for a game) by a seller - he told me to use the PayPal.Me service and I paid him the money, but I never received the bought item and the seller refuses to contact with me. I have the whole conversation with him saved as screenshots from Discord, where it can be clearly seen that he has send me the link to pay for the service and he just scammed me. Is there any hope for getting my money back? Sadly, I haven't used the buyer protection option when I was finalizing the transaction...
Sorry, if you did not pay via the buyer protection option (friends and family), then there's no refund as it is considered a "gift" payment. That's why the seller disappeared because there is no obligation to exchange goods for the money.
All is not lost, you paid tuition on a lesson learned.
