I ordered a puzzle from a company that went by the name <Removed>. It looked legit, but when I put in my order the receipt listed another company, <Removed>. After the email receipt, I heard nothing. I did some digging and found many complaints by people who have had their money stolen by this "company". WHY is Paypal not doing anything to kick this scammer off its base? I've put in a claim and will keep trying. This is inexcusable.

I'm still disputing this charge with paypal. Nicepuzzle.com is no longer a valid website. I've filed a claim with the government. Paypal should have to eat the cost for allowing a scammer to use their business. I'm disgusted. I keep getting a canned response and no information to actually contact the seller. I've not heard back from their customer complaint service either - shocking.
Sorry for keeping you waiting.
Since you have opened a Case, we will have a customer complaint team specialist contact you to provide you with a satisfactory solution. This will be the last email I send to you, please understand.
We are very sorry for all the inconvenience caused to you.
Have a nice day.
Best regards!

Yup, I ordered a clock from a Facebook ad via wattap.shop (against my better judgment) and when it finally arrived, naturally it wasn’t anything close to what I ordered. Despite the poor English and decidedly Chinese design of their sites, most of their online entities claim to be North American companies with promises to ship from the US or Canada. Don’t be fooled, your shipment will come from China. Their generic support email is <removed> — if you see this email associated with anything you wish to buy, dig deep. Draw your own conclusions. To everyone else scammed by them ... fight back. Open a claim with Paypal. Dispute the charges. Get your money back — lord already have. Maybe one day Paypal will open their eyes and ban this seller for good.

Do not order from this company. They are a scam. I ordered a large size expensive dog bed. They sent me a very small bed that was thin and crap. Paypal was working with me and got the company `to agree to a full refund as long as i return it and pay the shipping. I also emailed the company directly only to go back and forth with them only agreeing to a partial refund. Stared at 10%. I cant keep this. Its thin garbage. After Paypal said the company agreed to a full refund and me paying the shipping for return, they only gave me a few days to return it. I,m extremely upset. If you see this company on Facebook reply with Do Not Order from them!!!

Same thing happened to me. I can't believe the transaction isn't protected by PayPal if they allow payments through PayPal. I ordered 5 puzzles. All were the same, and all were damaged. They claimed a warehouse issue. This is the same story as everyone here. I expected more protection from PayPal when they do business with this company. This really damaged the confidence I have when I see the PayPal payment option. I'll be choosing other options whenever possible.

It's a pretty sophisticated scam and ridiculous that PayPal isn't addressing these consistent scammers. I have two recent disputes -- both denied because a USPS tracking number was provided EVEN THOUGH the tracking number is NOT connected to what I ordered and clearly not delivered to my house (as is evident in the pictures). No more trusting PayPal for purchases from unknown vendors. Very frustrating.

I had a somewhat similar experience with a company called Shenzhen Yuezehui Technology. They were advertising a Whiskey Advent Calendar on thevent-us.com. I placed the order, paid with PayPal, and received the calendar about 6 weeks later. I was surprised to see it came from China as there wasn't any indication that it would come from a non-us location. I didn't find anything negative about thevent-us.com, but the calendar did appear as I expected. (24 30ml hand waxed drams of old and rare whiskey) as pictured on the website. When my dad opened it at Christmas, we found it contained no whiskey at all, only little charm bracelet charms and a few empty bottles labeled "rye whiskey", but no actual whiskey. When I filed the dispute at PayPal, they requested I return the item back to the seller (in China!), which of course would cost more than the item itself! When I requested the seller give me a paid shipping label, PayPal automatically closed the case, no further dispute possible.... right? Actually, there is a way!
Go to: https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/home
Then click "Message Us", this gets you to a chatbot. Don't lose hope!
Select "Dispute Status" in the chat bot
Pick your closed transaction, the chatbot will say "This claim is closed, blah blah", then it will ask if this resolved your issue.
Now the magic is to pick "No, I need more help", then select "Yes" to send the conversation to a support agent. Provide the dispute ID and what ever details you can to the chatbot.
Wait patiently!
You will receive something like this:
In case of fraudulent behavior, you may want to file a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3.gov). Once you send us this document, we may close the claim in your favor and you won’t have to ship the item back to the seller.
Tip: IC3.gov is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Justice Assistance and the National White Collar Crime Center. They review and evaluate complaints and refer the information to the appropriate local, state, or federal agency.
