Returning item for refund

So I received the wrong item and have been told I need to return it to sender for full refund, however it needs to be tracked and it’s going to China. Does anyone know if this postage will also be refunded? Thanks

Paypal state this >>
PayPal is not obliged to reimburse you for any costs that you incur to comply with any of PayPal’s requests for cooperation for the purpose of resolving the problem (including, without limitation, costs that you incur to return a SNAD item to the Payment Recipient or another party as PayPal requests), although sometimes it may reimburse these costs.

Although they will compensate you for some of the cost if you have activated this at some point before you made that transaction .....

You also have the option to do a chargeback via your card issuer instead of a Paypal dispute if you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card.

I have the same problem.  I will only get a full refund if I pay to return the item to China although it was them that sent the wrong item, not me choosing the wrong item.  PayPal does not give any way to communicate with them.  They just want my shipping info.

I did what was suggested above and I was refunded the full postage price of £13.50 and it took a while to get refund for item but it did happen.
