Resolution dates keep changing?

Hi there. I currently have a dispute open and the estimated resolution date keeps getting pushed back. May I ask why this is? I ordered something from China 3 months ago and it was never shipped. This was a 700usd order so it is quite significant. Also, is there a way I can add more information to the dispute to further assist the investigation? I actually have new communications with the seller since I created the dispute over a month ago.

Have you escalated the dispute to a claim?

If so then Paypal it appears are inundated with claims mainly from buyers that bought tat from these China websites or Social Media ads !
So all claims are being pushed back unfortunately.

As long as yours has been escalated from a dispute to a claim, and is still being reviewed then you have the chance of a refund.
Sadly you will have to wait it out in the long queue though.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thank you for the info, that does make sense as my purchase was from China.

I ended up calling PayPal and they were very supportive. They have closed the case in my favor and says the refund has been complete (although I don't see the funds available in my account as of yet)

Does it take some time after a case is closed for the refund to be applied back to my paypal balance?
