Hi, I put in a claim against a company in China,I paid for my goods plus postage to UK, however I got wrong goods, when I put in a claim in July (first week)

It has gone back and forth and now the seller is asking for his item back and I have to pay the postage to China,I offered to send it back when I received it if they sent me a prepaid label,now PayPal have said I can get my money back if I send item back to them!!! at a cost to ME,this is totally wrong,do any of you agree?? I ordered a complete bed set and I got a pillowcase.
