I have a renter who rented my condo in a foreign country for 20 plus days and paid for the rental through his financial company (bank or credit card I don't know). He used PayPal to pay me which I paid a fee for. After his stay he disputed his payment with his financial company who then disputed the payment to PayPal. I replied to the dispute with my side of the story but Paypal said the financial company supported their customers' (my renter) claim and wants the money back for the entire amount of the rental. Does this mean I owe PayPal the entire amount and now I have to go back to the renter and try to collect? Is the only way to get my money to pay PayPal back to take the renter to court?
