Hi all, my name is Joshua and I'm a freelancer / Illustrator.
Apparently my Paypal account is "registered as financial services category" which needs me to submit documents to Paypal otherwise they'll limit my account. Thing is I do not own a company and I don't do taxes and all that, hence I have no documents to prove. How do I resolve this?
Downgrade to a personal account or write a letter explaining your situation and ask if you can change your business category or purpose to freelancing and business type as "Individual", pdf it and upload to all the appropriate steps where its asking for business documents.
May I know how do you downgrade into a personal account? It'll save lot more time than sending emails (I've already sent 2 this morning) or creating another new account.
