Why is it Paypal treats loyal customers so badly ? I recently bought a phone on Ebay and paid the seller via paypal. I didn't notice that the seller was in Malaya. The phone took nearly two weeks to arrive but just before it did Ebay withdrew the listing and told me I need not complete the transaction. But I had already paid for it. Sure enough when the phone arrived, although advertised as brand new in manufacturer's box it had been rooted. I immediately, following Paypal's advice tried to return the phone to the seller. He has now refused the return presumably because he is having to pay customs import duty in Malaya. Despite sending the tracking information to Paypal several times they have refused a refund and they have also limited my account because I dared challenge them
