Refund

Hey guys, I really need some help. Last month I made a purchase, just found out it was a fraudulent website. Payment was made through pay pal, I have a PayPal receipt on my email. When trying to report a problem, it’s saying I have no transaction history. So I can’t file a claim to get a refund, because it’s saying there is no transactions on my account but I clearly made a transaction because I got an email receipt for it.

If you bought something online with a debit or credit card and did NOT log into your Paypal account then of course it won't show on that Paypal account because you bought as a 'guest buyer'.
However your seller may have processed that payment using their Paypal 'card reader' and so Paypal would show on your bank or card statement.

If you need to open a dispute for a 'guest buyer' transaction then you can.......

1. Phone Paypal customer services and see if they will open one for you (difficult at the moment due to covid)
OR
2. Contact your card issuer for a chargeback.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Hi

I made a purchase through pay pal two ago , i feel that it is a fake web site.

The product has not been shipped . I see a message on my pal pal accountactivity which acknowledges that they have received the payment and the item will be shipped in 4-5 days. However, the message does not address me by name,  which is how it occurs in fake sites , apparently.

How do I block the payment? My card issuer(bank) says, i have to contact Paypal , it cannot be done with the bank .

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have the exact same problem! Did you get yours resolved? What did you do, who did you talk to? I have $300 in this transaction. I would really appreciate any help and
