Refund with account limitation

My account just got limited and I got a email from PayPal that says I can not use PayPal anymore. I can’t get through the phone line because they are not taking calls. My question is I paid for something with a card. The merchant just emailed me and said item is out of stock. So how will I get my money refunded? Will it still go back to my card even though my account is limited?

Hi @Ar4raven 

 

Sorry to hear about your issue. Refunds will go back to the original funding source so in other worlds back to the card regardless of any issue on your account. If you paid with a credit card, the money is refunded to your card. If the card you paid with is closed or invalid, please contact the issuing bank, as the money will still be refunded to your credit card account.
