I have been looking at a place on booking.com and The owner is asking me to pay a reservation deposit. And me being suspicious I asked to do a money request to be a bit more under protection. I was wondering just in case the loaming suspicion in my mind that I might get scammed am I under PayPal security and get a refund?
You are protected by PayPal IF you pay "Goods & Services". If you pay in "Friends & Family" AKA gifted then you will not be protected. You can however still open a dispute with either payment methods.
