Hi I received an item from eBay which PayPal notified me was fraudulent. Someone had hacked my account and I was charged for this item. PayPal quickly refunded me. Yet I still received the item. I haven’t been asked the return this and had it several weeks now. Will I be asked to return this or do I keep it?
I understand why receiving an item after it was reported as fraudulent would be confusing. If the case is already closed, there would be no further action that PayPal would make you do with this dispute. If you'd like to return it, you should be able to give it back to the post office and write "Return to Sender" on the package. I'm sure the seller would appreciate it.
