Receive limit

Hi there I hope you can help me. Someone is trying to send me money and it says limit is reached. How do i lift the limit. Ive searched online for steps to take in order to do it but the ability to actually do it on my paypal account isnt possible. Can anyone guide me here please? Thanks in advance. Liam
