Questionable online fraud

I purchased a product on line back in the beginning of May 2020 from a company which I subsequently found out was in China. I never received the product and filed a PayPal claim in June. So far nothing has happened except that my case resolution keeps getting delayed more and more. The latest date I received was August 14,2020. Can anyone help with this?
