I have a dispute for a service I never received, the seller claims I need to close the dispute before they can proceed to resolve the situation. what would happen if i close the dispute but they do not resolve the situation?

Hi @devoidv3,

Thank you for your post! I'm sorry to hear that you did not receive your item. It's important that you do not close the dispute before receiving the item. It is not possible to reopen a closed dispute or to open another one on the same transaction. You would lose Purchase Protection if the dispute were to be closed. The seller can refund through the dispute if that is the choice they make for resolution.

I hope this helps!
