A seller has refunded me for items bought, which I have never received, paypal told me due to some e-mail issue on my account, they have sent the payment back to the sender, and advised me to request them to try to refund me again. Which I did not need to do, as luckily the items arrived in my country at the time.
The seller however are insisting they have refunded me and are asking me for the money. I don't see any money on my paypal account. Is there a way I can get proof from paypal that they have sent that money back to the seller?

Hi @Nadinefix
If the payment in question shows "Completed" in your PayPal Activity tab, the funds were successfully sent to the merchant. I don't recommend sending another payment unless you're expecting another item or service. I hope this helps!
