Proof of postage and resolution centre

I bought an item at eBay through a credit card and seller sent me wrong item. So I opened a case to get a refund at eBay and the seller asked to close the case then he can send a proper item to me. So I believed and closed the case but it was fake and he just dragged time.

I soon realised that once I close a case then I cannot reopen it so I called resolution centre of eBay and an agent told me to Paypal.

So I opened a case through Paypal and Paypal investigated my case. I became am eligible to get a full refund if I return the postage.

So I went to post office and returned the postage with tracking number. The problem is because I opened this case through on the phone and made my Paypal account after it so this case is not linked to the Paypal account. So I called again and provided my case number and the tracking number that I have returned and sent the photo of receipt and returning postage to ‘paypalaureturns’ (I cannot type the whole email address here as somehow Paypal does not permitt to write this address) as an agent told me.

However I got an email that I need to prove showing I returned the postage. I have to prove it by 03/09/19.

Contact customer service to speak with a dispute specialist and inform them that you sent in the information and ask them to check if it is updated on your dispute case or not and to have it entered on the spot if it hasn't:

Log on, click HELP on top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US.

Or private message via social media:

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/paypalau/

Twitter: @AskPayPalAU

Facebook (US): https://www.facebook.com/paypal

Twitter (US): @AskPayPal

And if you end up losing the case, contact your credit card instead to dispute.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
