Hello, Recently I was selling an item on the app "LetGo" to try to make some extra cash. Someone inquired about it, told me they'd pay me via PayPal, and then proceeded to send me two fake PayPal emails. The transaction was for $600. I have proof of the chats as well as proof of the request that was sent. I've reported the user to LetGo, I am reporting it here, and I want to ensure stuff like this doesn't happen anymore.

As the emails were spoof then they have nothing to do with Paypals site as no part of that site was used to send you that spoof email.
Scammers send spoof emails on a regular basis to sellers on every site that they can as some folks are taken in and they send an item without being paid etc.
Nothing you can do other than be aware that scammers are all over the internet.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
