Please why can't I use my verve debt card on paypal

Please I will love to know why I can't use my verve debit card on PayPal. I will also like to know why I can't add a bank account without first, adding my debt card details. Thanks

Because Verve has nothing to do with Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover all of which PayPal accepts. Verve is its own network or card type. Please use another card.
