Please help with guarantee problem

I bought a battery for a Dyson vacuum in March 2020 and it failed in December 2020 - it will no longer charge.  I have tried messaging the seller in eBay twice, but no response at all.  This item has a 12 month guarantee.  I have tried to raise a payment dispute with Paypal, but the case was just closed as the transaction is over 120 days old.  Where do I go from here?

Any warranties is between you and the seller.

So if they don't respond then if they are in the UK how about the small claims court if it is worth it for a battery !!
