A web developer here, finished some web development tasks and got paid. On the day of payment, the client raised some issues that need to be addressed at an additional/extra cost.He made a payment of the completed work, and I started working on the raised issues. Midway working on the raised issues, we had some communication breakdown.
On 6/6, I got an alert that the client have filed an "Item not as described" claim with the description/reason of "Damaged Different". I don't understand why the client is making a claim on a payment of work already completed.
Please advise, what should I provide as proof that the payment was for completed work.
