Phone Number

I sent a payment to someone’s phone number because I confirmed the number was correct (by calling). I sent my payment and the phone number is attached to someone else’s accounts. Is there any way to ensure the payment goes to the correct phone number and not the prior person??

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you're running into some hiccups with a recent transaction. If you sent the payment as a Goods / Service payment, you may want to try opening an Item Not Received dispute. Otherwise, I would recommend reaching out to the recipient if theres an email address in the Transaction Details and request a refund.
