Permanent Account Limitation

Hi, I need help my account got permanently limited on the 1st August within that time the case has been resolved and I haven’t received any emails on how to get my money back and when I email them they just send me an automated email back stating why my account has been limited. I know that the limitations can take up to 6 months to get your money back but I really don’t see why PayPal are keeping my money when the case has been resolved. My account got limited through eBay as a case opened with a buyer and we kindly and swiftly got it sorted but PayPal stepped in straight away without any consideration of what happened, it was very drastic to ban my account. I am really stuck and fed up with PayPal now I’ve had no help whatsoever and it certainly will be the last time I go through this impatience company. If anyone could help with anything I’d appreciate it very much. Thanks.

If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal holds any funds for 180 days as that is the same time frame that buyers have to open paypal disputes.

If no disputes are opened against you in 180 days then 'normally' you are allowed to withdraw the funds as long as you are over 18, the account is in your legal name and registered in the country where you reside.

Sometimes they confiscate funds under this policy.

Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.

Your best bet is to wait until the phones are back up and running and then phone customer services so that you can speak to an agent.
Then they can help advise on how you can withdraw the funds if and when you are allowed to do so.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
