Hi all, I sold my prom dress on depop and the money was pending while I was posting as had to place a tracking number anyway I have given my dress away now to a charity. However now the buyer has placed a case as it hasn’t been posted but the money was pending but now isn’t showing up anymore and haven’t received it so will it take the money out of my bank if I refund her? Thanks
Since a dispute was filed, just issue a refund from within the dispute in the resolution center and close the case.
The dispute removed the funds on hold and withheld pending the outcome of the dispute. When you issue refund within the dispute those same funds will be used to refund the buyer, not taken from your bank.
