Paypal resolution process needs attention

I filed a claim on a product that I purchased and did not receive.  I then got information from the shipper that the name and address in the tracking number sent to me as mine did not have my name nor correct address on the package. When I tried to add this info to the claim there is no way to edit or add additional info to support my case. The then settled the claim in favor of the seller as the showed the package was delivered. The did not ask who it was sent or what the address was it was sent to. How does that work??  How can I get paypal to correct this wrong? If you call th[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]you get automated messages and that is it.  Is there any communication with Paypal??

The tracking info or Application Programming Interface (API) system provided by the carrier to PayPal likely does not transfer/confirm name and street address for privacy reasons, it only confirms shipment status, zip code, city/state/province/country so you'll need to get official documentation from the carrier that the package was not delivered to your street address, nor was the parcel addressed to your said street address as well as a police or ic3.gov report. Pdf everything for upload when you message PayPal to appeal the claim.

To reach out to customer service for assistance (message response times will be delayed though; limited customer service staffing due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) safety precautions):

https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/home

Click MESSAGE CENTER or click LOG IN to access your message center or for live chat where available.

Or try Social media:

Facebook (US): https://www.facebook.com/paypal

Twitter (US): @AskPayPal

Since PayPal claim is closed, you also have the option to dispute through your card issuer with the evidence if you paid with credit card, besides appealing with PayPal, as per section "Dispute with us or your card issuer" at:

https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full?locale.x=en_US#purchase-protection

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
