Paypal is a money laundering scam

I made a purchase online and quickly realized the site is a spoof, a fraud. i immediatly opened a ticket with paypal to ket them know. after several back and forth, they refused to do anyhthing and this is what they said:

(I never got the merchanside, i filed a dispute with my bank, and paypal never allowed me to do anything, they wont even let me open a dispute)

hong lam nuygen is not a legitimate vendor, and they claimed to be in the usa, they are not

I understand that you need to cancel a payment. As for the completed payment we can no longer cancel it, for this to be cancel please contact the merchant and ask for refund. You can't cancel a completed payment.

Paypal covers you for non receipt of item OR item received but not as described.

So its up to you to risk assess your own transactions. 

Paypal is not an insurance company and there buyer protection is not a 100% coverall.

It would be illegal for them to help themselves to money from a sellers paypal account if you did not go through the dispute process first and win.

You should research sites you are purchasing from before you commit to pay.

I too purchased merchandise and PayPal debited my account for funds and never did I receive my merchandise. I too have been ran around since 11/9/20. This is straight ripe off of PayPal cause they took money from my banking institution.

It's a scam, all that paypal is, in retrospect, is a gateway for scammers to be able to process payments.
