PP-D-95670280. thank you (sarcasm) for siding with the Chinese fraudulent seller! Seller advertised product, sent significantly DIFFERENT product and only way they would refund me is if I spent more money than i paid which would amount to min $100 to return back . than original sale for my shipping cost (seller would not cover) ... and YOU (Paypal) sided with them ... HORRIBLE service and you obviously support fraudulent Chinese sellers and encouraging. During this post i saw similiar report from more than 420 within this paypal community and still paypal gives **bleep**. will advertise this to others, report to BBB, and anything else I can do via social media. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER (lack of) service! There is NO buyer protection from you, can't wait to pay off this amount and NEVER use you again.

Actually its buyers that support these scam china websites or s.m ads by buying their tat from them.

Paypal gives you some buyer protection but its not an insurance policy and its up to all of us to risk assess our own transactions.

As for returning an item then paypal are doing EXACTLY what they say they will do.......

In the event of a dispute you need to bear in mind possible return trackable costs before you buy from that seller / item / country because....

Paypal state this >>
PayPal is not obliged to reimburse you for any costs that you incur to comply with any of PayPal’s requests for cooperation for the purpose of resolving the problem (including, without limitation, costs that you incur to return a SNAD item to the Payment Recipient or another party as PayPal requests), although sometimes it may reimburse these costs.

Although they will compensate you for some of the cost if you have activated this at some point before you made that transaction.

You also have the option to do a chargeback via your card issuer instead of a Paypal dispute if you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I was one that bought 4 pairs of leggins that cost me $129 from Hibernal and I did return to China and provided tracking info and PayPal closed my case stating I didn't provide valid tracking.  On the day that they closed my case the USPS tracking shows the package arrived in Chinese customs.  So No PayPal who in my dispute told me exactly what to do, and I followed the instructions to a T.  Not only did I provide a picture of the USPS Receipt with the tracking number and the weight of the package, I provided pictures of the leggings going in the package while at the Post Office.

So yes, I agree with this poster that Pay Pal is encouraging the Chinese Scammers.  This is Fraud no matter how you look at it.  I too am placing a case with the BBB and I am informing as many people I can in as many ways that I can.

I trusted PayPal when they assured me to send the package back.  It cost me to send back and I am sure that the chineese scammer expected that, but PayPal did reimburse me $30 of the shipping so I figured I may be out a few bucks once I got my $129 back.  I did not expect them to deny my case and close it.

The same thing happened to me! The company was YF INTERNET TECH and I heard from others who were ripped off by the same company! I ordered a drone and they sent me some kind of plastic wallet, I also heard from another guy who bought a Lazer printer from them and they sent him the same plastic wallet! They do this so that they have a tracking number and can prove their parcel reached you, therefore when you put in a claim through PayPals resolution center PayPal sides with the seller because they can prove a parcel reached you and their deception is complete! So like someone else said on here it's partly our fault for buying their cheap tat, so I'm stopping from now on, I'm not going to get caught out again by this type of unscrupulous company. PayPal is just doing it's job by protecting the seller that they believe really did send that parcel, but they should have a better easier way to contact them to report sellers like these that rip off multiple buyers!
