I was Limited back in June of 2020, for receiving $2,500.00 from Paypal. I went to withdraw the money a few days later after receiving it and I was instantly Limited for Trying to withdraw the funds. I contacted PayPal and Asked Questions, this Being on a business account under my LLC. They provided no information at all. I requested Several Times for Legal Documentation to link the account to the Hold and they stated  I would need to get a Court order in order to even see the Documents.

Paypal "Limited me" for Me having 2 separate accounts.

1 being a Business (One above)

1 Being a personal

They Limited me because I had another account under 2 Separate Emails and Different Usages under Each.

I reached out and Explained it but seemed to get Default Responses.

They Perminitly Limited me and Told me I must wait 180 Days for the Funds to be Released.

Today November 1st, 2020. I Logged on to see my Funds Sent to PayPal for "Acceptable use Policy Damages Cost"

Now after Reviewing the Acceptable Policy it states The Following, Please Note I do online E-commerce and Always provide proof of Fulfillment with our Website being Connected and all.

You may not use the PayPal service for activities that:

  1. violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation.
  2. relate to transactions involving (a) narcotics, steroids, certain controlled substances or other products that present a risk to consumer safety, (b) drug paraphernalia, (c) cigarettes, (d) items that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity, (e) stolen goods including digital and virtual goods, (f) the promotion of hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory or the financial exploitation of a crime, (g) items that are considered obscene, (h) items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction, (i) certain sexually oriented materials or services, (j) ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, or (k) certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law.
  3. relate to transactions that (a) show the personal information of third parties in violation of applicable law, (b) support pyramid or ponzi schemes, matrix programs, other "get rich quick"schemes or certain multi-level marketing programs, (c) are associated with purchases of annuities or lottery contracts, lay-away systems, off-shore banking or transactions to finance or refinance debts funded by a credit card, (d) are for the sale of certain items before the seller has control or possession of the item, (e) are by payment processors to collect payments on behalf of merchants, (f) are associated with the sale of traveler's checks or money orders, (h)involve currency exchanges or check cashing businesses, (i) involve certain credit repair, debt settlement services, credit transactions or insurance activities, or (k) involve offering or receiving payments for the purpose of bribery or corruption.
  4. involve the sales of products or services identified by government agencies to have a high likelihood of being fraudulent.

Now after Reviewing these Terms I did not Violate non of the Following but they still keep in responses Basically are saying "Sue us if you got a problem"

Now The Reason I am Reaching out today is to Figure out the best option on Contact to solve and Get my Funds as I am not here to Lose just $2,500.00 and Just get over it.

I have Contacted my Lawyers inside the United States on a Financial Lawsuit to be Suing Paypal for Thousands for Misleading Policies and Abuse of Power & Not alerting the Account holder (me) in regards to any of this information.

I am here looking for what you guys as a Community would be best Thoughts.

Currently have been speaking and Planning with my:

Business Attorney

Financial Justice Attorney

Criminal Justice Attorney

But am Always willing to look for more options of course.

Please Feel Free to Drop Thoughts on the Best status as this is Very Unprofessional and very Illegal to Sieze Money when the Policy was not broken & Furthermore to Limit me Originally for not Violating their User agreement, Trust me we have Read the entire User Agreement already and verified it was not violated on the account usage.

Farewell,

- Owen

Move forward with the lawsuit. File a BBB complaint. File an FTC complaint. File a consumer affairs complaint.

Paypal has to be made to understand that they are not above the law, they do have to answer to people about the money they hold from them because that money does not belong to Paypal, and if enough people do this Paypal will have to do the right thing and actually get back to treating its customers with dignity and respect.
