I ordered a digital clock from a seller in China. $33 with shipping. What I got was a cheap wallet not worth $0.50. Filing with the Paypal dispute center has produced no results. In fact Paypal is siding with the seller. Thus Paypal is participating and supporting the scam. Paypal is supposed to provide protection but is failing in that process.
Find another entity to transfer funds or make purchases. Paypal should not be the first choice for financial transactions. Other alternatives exist that will provide protection.
So Paypal, you can close my account and I will consider the money lost a lesson learned. Others have been warned.
